Throughout any given week, I strive to share hilarious gorgeous punny topical things on my Twitter. At the end of the week, I condense the very best of Internetdom into a WOW-tastic post I call The Weekend WOW.
And what a WOW-tastic week it was, indeed. Let me just tell you…
+ WOW what a hilarious blog post: Jon Acuff’s “Refusing a bulletin at church,” courtesy Stuff Christians Like. As always, Acuff is spot-on with church culture hilarity. I’ve done it; you’ve done it. But don’t fret; after all, “we’re not sweaty Philistines.”
+ WOW what a gorgeous music video: “Worn” by Tenth Avenue North. I used this song in the background of my Struggle Central book trailer, and for good reason. Tenth Avenue North blows it out of the water with their haunting depiction of a massive bare tree, billowing clouds, and floating leaves. One of the best music videos I’ve ever seen; no exaggeration. Check this one out before you close your computer screen!
+ WOW what a punny tweet: I’m probably far too entertained by a mock Twitter account for Darth Vader. But what can I say? The Force has run through my veins since early childhood. And so I give you my favorite tweet of the week, featuring @DepressedDarth:
Help me Francis I, you’re my only Pope.
— Darth Vader (@DepressedDarth) March 13, 2013
+ WOW what a topical Google-image search: Searching “pope joke” seemed all too easy though especially relevant this week:
So true. So very true.
I just can’t resist:
Pope Tart #WorstPopeNames

Why didn’t we have Twitter and social media during every other Pope decision? Such a loss for humanity.
What was your favorite
pope part of the Internet this week?
