#RunningTo Week 6 in Review: Storybrooke, Seattle, Mount Rainier

There’s no time. NO TIME. I just have to show you guys this:

#RunningTo: Gopher Hole Museum

Oh, sorry, I’m past the Gopher Hole Museum now. It’s such a pity, but I’m glad y’all enjoyed my recounting of that adventure!

Last week’s pictographical recap was my most viewed #RunningTo Week in Review to date, so I’ll be sure to visit another dead / anthropomorphically dressed rodent museum some time! I hear Portland’s got a killer squirrel thing going.

But onto #RunningTo Week 6, which was just as momentous and incredible as all the others. I rounded out my first Canadian venture with a literal walk through Storybrooke! I’m a huge Once Upon a Time fan, so to walk down the “Main Street” of British Columbia’s Steveston where they film — life-changing.

Also a dream come true? Seattle. Simply Seattle. Check out my Week 6 in review!

This bakery is still officially called something else, but they leave up their Storybrooke sign year-round!
#RunningTo: Storybrooke
The pet shelter where David Nolan / Prince Charming worked! This building is actually empty inside and serves as a landmark.
#RunningTo: Storybrooke
Mr. Gold’s pawn shop!

Outside Granny’s!
#RunningTo: Storybrooke
Storybrooke’s library / clocktower! They digitally insert the clock part into the show. Had NO idea.
#RunningTo: Storybrooke
JIMINY CRICKET’S / DR. HOPPER’S OFFICE DOOR. I just wanted him to be there and counsel me.
#RunningTo: Seattle
My first moments back in Seattle after a 2 1/2 year absence. Glorious.
#RunningTo: Seattle
Pike Place: greatest marketplace in America.
#RunningTo: Seattle
Biking Seattle since Biking Vancouver a week prior was such a thrill!
#RunningTo: Seattle
Most stunning skyline I’ve ever seen.
#RunningTo: Seattle
This poor lady had some trouble taking my picture on the ferry boat . . .
#RunningTo: Seattle
. . . as you can see.
#RunningTo: Mount Rainier
Checking out the tallest mountain in the contig-48!
#RunningTo: Mount Rainier
Rainier at 4am. “Chilling” doesn’t describe the scene enough.
#RunningTo: Mount Rainier
Rainier sunrise after my campout there. She’s glowing.

That’s all for this week’s #RunningTo Week in Review! Keep up to date with all my wanderings on Twitter and Instagram with my #RunningTo hashtag.

Until next time, what’s your favorite dead gopher? Oops. I mean . . . what’s the prettiest city / skyline you’ve ever seen?

AH! I didn’t know you could walk through Storybrooke! I love Once Upon a Time, so I guess that’ll have to be added to my “To Visit” list…Can you go into places like Granny’s and Mr. Gold’s?! Anyway, so cool to view your adventures, the pictures of Rainier are awesome! I haven’t been too many places, but Pittsburgh has a nice skyline!

I still love that dead gopher angel! As far as cities go, Edinburgh is really pretty and so is Stockholm.

SF certainly has a sweet skyline. The whole west coast is filled with some epic views of cities by the water. Looking forward to hitting that area soon! Glad you’re enjoying my journey, Josiah. I hope you travel and get to experience something like it too someday! Appreciate all the kind words of support. Much love.
