It’s an OREGONIAN EXTRAVAGANZA this week! Week 8 of #RunningTo took me to all corners of the Beaver State, from Donald Miller infused Portland to capital city Salem to University of Oregon headquarters Eugene to One of the Best Small Towns in America Bend to the OH MY GOSH BREATHTAKING Crater Lake.
Let’s just get right to it, shall we? This was my wandering week that was, Oregon style:
Reed College! A significant “character” in Donald Miller’s works.
Reed College’s Blue Bridge as seen in the “Blue Like Jazz” movie!
Excerpt from “Blue Like Jazz” . . .
. . . which led me to JOAN.
Excerpt from “Through Painted Deserts” . . .
. . . which led me to PALIO.
The squirrels are VERY friendly in Salem.
As in EXHIBIT A: this squirrel thinks it’s my dog.
Catching an Oregonian waterfall . . .
One of my favorite pics from this whole trip. DAY 50! VAGABOND status.
Checking out the UofO campus in Eugene, home of Tracktown USA!
A surprise reprise of Voodoo Doughnut! I thought they only existed in Portland, only to discover their one non-Portland location. This bacon maple doughnut was like manna from heaven.
Tubing the Duschenes River in Bend, Oregon! Tubing it MY way, of course.
About to enter a true WONDERLAND. I’d have no idea.
No words to describe the beauty of Crater Lake. A top-3 gorgeous locale of this trip, by far.
Ever been to any of these sweet Oregonian locations? Ever taste a sweet bacon maple doughnut? What about petting a sweet friendly squirrel?
