#RunningTo Week 27 in Review: Baltimore & Washington DC

On the heels of Thanksgiving with my family in eastern Pennsylvania, I hit the road once more. I ventured southward into Maryland and the District of Columbia, and it was a nice dose of the charming and historical.

Check out some of my favorite moments from the wandering week that was!

#RunningTo: Concord Point Lighthouse
Who doesn’t love a lighthouse?
#RunningTo: Baltimore, MD
Didn’t get to stop anywhere in Baltimore, but I did snag a picture of this sweet bridge sign.
#RunningTo: Seneca Creek, MD
Pontificating o’er the Potomac.
#RunningTo: Seneca Creek, MD
Can’t beat a stone house.
#RunningTo: Washington DC
The Capitol getting her hair did.
#RunningTo: Washington DC
The Jefferson Memorial!
#RunningTo: Washington DC
TJ.
#RunningTo: Washington DC
From one Thomas to another.
#RunningTo: Washington DC
World War II Memorial, Reflecting Pool, and the Lincoln Memorial.
#RunningTo: Washington DC
I’ve seen my bearded hero several times on this trip, but not quite like this.
#RunningTo: Washington DC
Standing where MLK once did. Especially moving in light of recent events.

I’m currently in the midst of a 25-day #RunningToHome Kickstarter! I’d be so grateful for any amount you could give toward getting me home to tell the tale of this incredible journey.
