#RunningTo Weeks 30-32 in Review: New York City & Langhorne, PA

Hello, my wanderers! And a very happy new year to you all. Wow, 2015. Can you believe it? The long foreseen year of perpetual hoverboard references is finally upon us. One of my friends said she loves odd-numbered years, and while I found her comment odd, I do think it’s gonna be an awesome year ahead.

I took a break from my weekly #RunningTo recaps since much of my holiday was spent relaxing stationary at my Eden of long ago: Langhorne, PA. I enjoyed a lovely holiday season with my family, and I hope you did as well.

Once much of my family departed for home, though, I decided on a semi-impromptu adventure! Because why not ring in the new year at Times Square? If not now on this road trip, then when?

So, a friend and I took to the cold congested streets of New York on December 31, and we waited there. And waited there. And waited there some more. And then we still had over 9 hours to go.

The new year was slow to arrive, but arrive it finally did, and it was a glorious confetti-filled way to start 2015. I stayed in the Big Apple for four additional days and got to see more of this gargantuan city than I ever had previously.

Check out some of my favorite moments from the wandering weeks that were, and stay tuned for more wanderings to come in this new year! The finish line is fast approaching . . .

i was just in NYC in October and I went to many of the same places. Ironically, I was with my friend and we walked right by the Hillsong Church while service was going on. I begged her to go in and she refused. Later, I asked her about the Church she said she was dying to go to so badly. She said, “I think it was the one we walked by.” I said, “We walked by dozens of Churches, which one?” She said with her head hanging low, “I think it was the one you wanted to go into.” LOL. I was jealous when I saw your picture. Oh, and nice Cover Girl pic Tom.
