It’s that special time of the week where I condense the very best of my world wide web wanderings into a single post. As always, you can follow me on Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest for all my wonderful web wanderings as they occur throughout the week.
Onward to the WWW!
No, this isn’t a report on some run-off election or dignitary conclave or something. FULL HOUSE IS COMING BACK. And get this: they’re calling the Netflix spinoff FULLER HOUSE. Because the Tanners are, like, doing the communal living thing again! Also, DJ married some dude named Fuller — who has already died, widowing DJ just like her father before her. Eek. And with Kimmy Gibler moving in . . . just ugh. Such a tragic family. Good thing there’s a light leading them home everywhere they look. And if the Olsen twins really do come back like they’re kinda sorta maybe saying, bring on the laugh tracks and sappy music. All hope will be restored, and I will be so on board with this.
Donald Miller’s “6 Characteristics of a Hero” via Storyline. Everything changes when you start viewing your life through the lens of story and yourself as the hero. It sounds dramatic, sure, but life is dramatic. Heroes and villains exist among us, and I think you’re more a hero than you realize. Favorite line from this post: “The story won’t come to you, you’ve got to jump into it.”
A friend recently pointed me to this Christian hip-hop band, KB. Their song “Open Letter (Battlefield)” hit me with a fevered desperation. Feels a lot like real life.
I was recently featured on a blog called Solo Traveler, a site dedicated to independent wandering. I wrote about my #RunningTo christening into the heart of the Grand Canyon, and I gave them a few of my favorite photos too. Check out my Solo Travel Destination: Grand Canyon!
It’s fascinating to talk in “Bible-based” Christian circles about our need to forgive… and find resistance. Grace is still a scandal.

What’d I miss on the WWW this week? Are you, like me, hoping DJ falls back in love with Steve now that Fuller is out of the way? Ugh, as long as it’s not Viper.
